IPA (60%) has the most effective concentration for killing the tissue phase of Crytococcus neoformans , Blastomyces dermatitidis, Coccidiodies immitis, and Histoplasma capsulatum and the culture phases of the latter three organisms aerosolized onto various surfaces.
